Professional classes take place at Dance Limerick Studio during residencies by visiting dance artists and are suitable for professional dancers and advanced level students.
Dance Limerick is delighted to welcome Eleven Farrer House - Gaelin Little, Tara Silverthorn, Lucille Teppa and Cat Westwood - who will co-deliver two professional classes during their residency. The classes will draw on their studio practice and will be grounded in somatic principles and informed by the members’ variety of experiences, including:
- Body Weather Laboratory
- Bodywork practice
Participants will be invited to work with lightness and creativity through different frames while Gaelin, Tara, Lucille and Cat will cultivate an environment of awareness.
Gaelin Little, Tara Silverthorn, Lucille Teppa and Cat Westwood have all studied at the LABAN Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London. Their artistic interests come together within Eleven Farrer House, where initiation and authorship shift from project to project. Individual creativity is supported and nourished through collective exchanges, providing the ground for actualisation of bespoke works and investigation of practice.
