Professional classes take place at Dance Limerick Studio during residencies by visiting dance artists and are suitable for professional dancers and advanced level students.

Dance Limerick is delighted to welcome independent dance artist Helga Deasy to lead a professional class during her residency.

Helga's contemporary technique class is release-based, concentrating on efficient use of energy and fluidity in movement. Working with the somatic principles of breath and connectivity within the body and into the ground, the class focuses on the development of an understanding and embodiment of movement. Elements of Vinyasa Flow Yoga are integrated into the practice to build core strength and to work with the breath as a movement source. The class focuses on weight and gravity, dynamic alignment and connectivity in motion.

Wed 08 & Wed 15 April | 10am-11.30am | €7.00 on the door
