ARTS COUNCIL DANCE FUNDING INFO CLINIC

The Arts Council will be holding a public Dance Funding Clinic to provide information about the various funding schemes and awards currently available to dance artists. The clinic will be led by Head of Dance, Davide Terlingo.

Funding programmes covered will include Dance Project Award, Travel & Training Award, Bursary Award and Dance Artist Residency Scheme only.

The Clinic will cover:
• The purpose and priorities of each award
• The application process
• The assessment and decision making process
• Eligibility criteria

There will be an opportunity for a Q&A and general advice for making an application. In order to provide a meaningful clinic, the focus will remain on the topics outlined above and it will not be possible to use the clinic to address individual applications or unsuccessful funding decisions.

Dance Limerick exists to support the development of professional dance artists within the Limerick region and beyond.

Through a combination of performance platforms, residency opportunities, master classes, talks and lectures, Dance Limerick will advocate for artistic dialogue and exchange. In collaboration with dance artists across a range of practices, Dance Limerick will promote the creation of new and innovative work and will devise programmes of access, engagement and participation for the wider public.

Based at the premises of the former Daghdha Dance Company, Dance Limerick houses offices and a fully equipped studio space along with a separate performance venue known as the Daghda Space
